Upgrade your Sharpal 202H fixed angle knife sharpener with more abrasive options.

The Sharpal 202H is a capable sharpening system, but the stock setup limits you to the abrasive plates made for that sharpener. Our Universal Stone Holder expands what the system can do by allowing you to use many third party sharpening stones and abrasive plates.

This holder is adjustable and designed for 1 inch wide stones from approximately 3.75 inches up to 6.75 inches long. For best results, we recommend using sharpening stones from 4 inches up to 6.25 inches long.

Use the grit, abrasive type, and finish you prefer. Whether you are repairing an edge with a coarse diamond stone, refining a bevel with medium grit abrasives, or polishing with high grit stones, this holder gives you more flexibility than the stock Sharpal abrasive set.

The holder attaches to the included Sharpal 202H guide rod, so you can use it with your existing sharpener setup. The textured top fins and rear knob provide comfortable grip options while sharpening, and the built in safety stop helps keep your hand away from the knife edge.

Angle Adjustment Note

Please note that third party sharpening stones and abrasive plates may vary in thickness from the original Sharpal stones. Because of this, the angle shown on the Sharpal system may not match the actual sharpening angle when using aftermarket stones.

We recommend using an angle meter or inclinometer to check the actual angle with each type of stone you use. This will help you determine how much adjustment is needed compared to the stock Sharpal stones.

For example, when using our Hapstone Premium Diamond stones, we need to set the Sharpal system to approximately 17 degrees to achieve an actual sharpening angle of 15 degrees.
