Platform for Work Sharp Professional Precision Adjust

The Work Sharp Professional Precision Adjust knife sharpener is a fantastic tool and is capable of putting a razor sharp edge on your knives, unfortunately, there is some flex in the system and knife supports are needed to support long or wide blades.

Our Platform for Work Sharp Professional Precision Adjust comes with 3x knife supports which lock into position and will not move; their height is adjustable to provide support for long, short, thin, and tall blades. The knife support slots are spaced 5mm apart providing the perfect fit for almost any knife. There are 9 rows with 14 notches per row providing 126 possible knife support placements for the standard variation or 11 rows with 14 notches per row providing 154 possible knife support placements for the deluxe variation

The Work Sharp Professional Precision Adjust comes with 4 mounting holes. If you have your Work Sharp Professional Precision Adjust mounted to a table or work bench, our platform has holes that are 9mm in diameter allowing you to use the same size screw to secure the platform to your table or work bench.

If you do not have your Work Sharp Professional Precision Adjust mounted do not worry, we include 2 push pins that will attach the platform to the Work Sharp base. Please note that these push pins will keep the platform from moving but will not affix the platform to the Work Sharp base. To securely affix the platform to the Work Sharp base you will need to secure both to a table or work bench.

Standard Dimensions: 190mm (7.5") wide, 127mm (5") long, and 12mm (0.5") tall.

Deluxe Dimensions: 232mm (9.1") wide, 127mm (5") long, and 12mm (0.5") tall.

Instructions For Use

• First, attach the platform to the front of the Work Sharp Professional Precision Adjust base; use the included push pins or mount both to a table or work bench using screws (not included).
• Second, insert the knife clamp into the Work Sharp Professional Precision Adjust base (with your knife already clamped).
• Third, decrease the height of the knife supports by turning the screw clockwise. Decrease the height until you can insert the knife supports into the desired slot. The knife supports should be a few millimeters behind the edge. Do not put the knife supports under the edge, otherwise the sharpening stone will damage the knife supports.
• Fourth, from behind the blade, rotate the top of the knife supports counter clockwise to raise their height until they touch the blade. Do not raise the knife supports too much.
