Platform for Work Sharp Professional Precision Adjust

The Work Sharp Professional Precision Adjust is a fantastic sharpener capable of putting a razor-sharp edge on your knives, but most users experience flex in the system when sharpening longer or wider blades. Our Platform for Work Sharp Professional Precision Adjust solves this problem by adding stability, precision, and consistent support for every sharpening session.

This platform includes three adjustable knife supports that lock securely in place and will not move during sharpening. Each support’s height can be fine-tuned to provide the perfect fit for short, long, thin, or tall blades. The knife support slots are spaced 5mm apart, offering 126 support positions on the standard platform (9 rows x 14 notches) or 154 positions on the deluxe version (11 rows x 14 notches).

If your Work Sharp Professional Precision Adjust is mounted to a workbench, our platform features 9mm mounting holes that align with the same hardware size for seamless integration. For unmounted setups, two included push pins attach the platform securely to the Work Sharp base, preventing movement during sharpening.

Instructions for Use

1. Attach the platform to the Work Sharp base using the included push pins or screws (not included).
2. Insert the knife clamp with your knife attached into the Work Sharp base.
3. Adjust the knife supports by turning the screw clockwise to lower them, then insert each support a few millimeters behind the edge.
4. From behind the blade, rotate the top of each knife support counterclockwise until it lightly touches the knife.
