Platform for Work Sharp Precision Adjust

The Work Sharp Precision Adjust knife sharpener is a fantastic tool and is capable of putting a razor sharp edge on your knives, unfortunately, it's made entirely of plastic, has no way to mount it to a table or bench, and is very wobbly.

Our Platform for Work Sharp Precision Adjust Knife Sharpener provides a secure platform that secures the Work Sharp Precision Adjust base to a table or bench which prevents the need to hold the Work Sharp Precision Adjust base with one hand while you sharpen with the other. I am primarily one handed and I am able to sharpen all of my knives with one hand; this platform holds the base steady for both edge leading and edge trailing strokes.

The Platform for Work Sharp Precision Adjust comes with 3x knife supports which lock into position and will not move; their height is adjustable to provide support for long, short, thin, and tall blades. The knife support slots are spaced 5mm apart providing the perfect fit for almost any knife. There are 9 rows with 14 notches per row providing 126 possible knife support placements.

There are 2 tapered screw holes which gives you the ability to secure the Platform for Work Sharp Precision Adjust to a table or bench (screws are not included).

There is a small lip on the front side of the platform which holds the Work Sharp Precision Adjust base securely in the platform. The lip will hold the Work Sharp Precision Adjust in place during sharpening, but you can easily remove the Work Sharp Precision Adjust from the platform with mild upward force.

The platform dimensions are 240mm (9.5") long, 190mm (7.5") wide, and 12mm (0.5") tall.

The Work Sharp sharpening system and knives are not included with this item. The pictures that include the Work Sharp sharpening system and knives are for demonstration purposes only.

Instructions for Use

• First, insert the front of the Work Sharp Precision Adjust base into the platform and push down the back of the Work Sharp Precision Adjust base until it snaps in place.
• Second, insert the knife clamp into the Work Sharp Precision Adjust base (with your knife already clamped).
• Third, decrease the height of the knife supports by turning the screw clockwise. Decrease the height until you can insert the knife supports into the desired slot. The knife supports should be a few millimeters behind the edge. Do not put the knife supports under the edge, otherwise the sharpening stone will damage the knife supports.
• Fourth, from behind the blade, rotate the top of the knife supports counter clockwise to raise their height until they touch the blade. Do not raise the knife supports too much otherwise the knife supports will dislodge the Work Sharp Precision Adjust from the platform.
